- How much do keywords cost?
The cost of your campaigns really depends on you -- how much you're ready to invest and what your goals are. It all comes down to knowing your business' goals and applying them to your account. Our certified specialists can help you in this process, from determining the desired outcome of your advertising to helping you get the best return on your spend. You can also control your costs by thinking about your business' seasonal patterns. We will help you reap the benefits of search engine traffic patterns and set an appropriate daily budget for spending in your account. Daily budgets start as low as $1.00 a day up to whatever limit you are comfortable spending.
- What is an ad?
A typical ad will consist of:
- Ad title (25 characters, including spaces): The title attracts users who are searching for your products or services.
- Two description lines (35 characters each, including spaces): These two lines contain your product, service, and/or promotion details. The content in these lines will be clear to communicate your intent and compelling enough to convince searchers to click your ad and visit your site.
- Display URL (35 characters, including spaces): This line indicates which website the user will visit if he or she clicks your ad.
Our trained specialists will make the most of the guidelines established by the search engines, creating targeted and unique ads to help your business stand out.
- Can I see where my ads will appear?
The Ad systems place ads automatically on relevant sites in the growing search networks. As sites are updated and added and other advertisers' ad campaigns change, the potential places your ads can appear will also change. Therefore, there is no definitive list of places your ad will be shown. However, our monthly reports will break down the visits to your site on a keyword level. Also, you can see the particular sites from which your ad accrued clicks by viewing the web logs of your server. These logs are accessible by your webmaster or website administrator, and provide a detailed listing of the websites on which your ad was clicked. We can use this information to refine your ad targeting, or to determine which websites are performing best for you.
- What is a click?
The title of the ad functions as a link to your website. When searchers see your ad and use the link, this is a click. The total number of clicks on your ad refers to the number of visits to your website via your online marketing campaign.
- What is an impression?
The number of impressions is the number of times an ad is displayed in response to searchers using your keywords. When your ad appears in response to 500 people searching for one of your keywords, this equals 500 impressions.
- What is a keyword?
Keywords are used to target your ads to potential customers. As no one knows your business and your customers like you, your input on keywords is extremely valuable. Combining your feedback with the content on your website and our proprietary research tools will help us develop a comprehensive and targeted keyword list to make the most of your advertising budget.
- What does pay per click mean?
The pricing structure used by some online channels to charge an advertiser each time a user clicks on the advertiser's ad. The amount is usually set by the advertiser, not by the channel. Also called cost-per-click (CPC).
- What is a cost-per-click (CPC)?
The cost-per-click (CPC) is the amount you pay each time a user clicks on your ad. Our Marketing Team will manage your cost per click to optimize the return on your total ad spend.
- How do I find out about my campaign progress?
When your campaign is activated, we will send you an email that includes a link to login to your ad account and the login information. You're welcome to check in on it at anytime. However, we take care of the management of your campaign, and we will send you monthly reports that break down your campaign's progress to the keyword level. The reports help us determine a strategy for your campaign, allowing us to make decisions based on your previous campaign achievements.
